The barn construction project continues! Well, I guess to be technically correct, I should stop calling this a pole barn. Technically, it is a post frame structure. See, learning new stuff all the time. 🙂
On day (phase) 2, we got four posts up. The next day, day 3 (phase 3), we continued with the post installation along the first wall, which will be the back wall of the barn.
We got the other four posts of the first wall in. This will be the only long solid wall, as the other long wall (the front wall) will have a pedestrian door and a single garage door.
Just look at that beautiful straight line of post! 🙂
We were pretty tired at the end of the day, but not quite as bad as the day before. We were grateful it was a three-day weekend!
Poor Cowboy Jake. He’s not used to spending two entire days running around outside and supervising construction. He was plumb worn out. Like his parents, he’s not as young as he used to be and can’t work as long or as hard as he used to. ❤️
Until next time, worms rock, bees rules and chickens are my Zen.
